Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of the AL Faeq Auctions website and what you send through it. Using the site or submitting a request through it means you have read them and accepted them.

On this page, these words mean the following:

  • AL Faeq: AL Faeq Auctions, the company that operates the site, based in Ajman in the United Arab Emirates.
  • The site: alfaeqauctions.com and all of its pages.
  • You, or the seller: whoever uses the site or submits a request through it to sell their car.
  • The request: the details and photos you send about your car through the site.
  • The inspection: an in-person examination of your car by an AL Faeq inspector at the location you choose.
  • The offer: the amount AL Faeq offers to buy your car after the inspection.
  • Completion: your acceptance of the offer, payment of the amount, and transfer of the car ownership.

We buy cars from their individual owners across the seven emirates. The service is for those aged 18 and over who own the car or hold a valid authorisation to sell it.

So that nothing is left unclear, these are things this service does not do:

  • We do not provide financing and do not settle loans.
  • We do not settle traffic fines.
  • We do not give a final price before the inspection.
  • We do not sell cars to individuals through this site.

Creating an account is optional, and you can send your request without one. If you do create one, your sign-in details are your responsibility: keep your password safe and do not share it, and everything done through your account is attributed to you.

If you notice any use you do not recognise, tell us immediately at info@alfaeqauctions.com so we can suspend the account.

When you send your request we contact you to agree the time and place of the inspection, and our inspector comes to you in the emirate you choose.

You pay nothing for the inspection, and the inspection does not oblige you to accept the offer that follows it. You may stop the process at any stage before completion.

What you write in the request is information describing your car. It is not an offer from us and not a commitment to a price.

The offer is issued after the inspection and is based on the condition of the car as the inspector found it. It is a final offer, not subject to later negotiation, and it stands for 48 hours from the moment it is issued, after which it lapses and a new inspection is required.

We may withdraw the offer before you accept it. If the condition of the car differs from what you described, or a mortgage or obligation you did not disclose comes to light, the offer may change or lapse.

Your acceptance of the offer concludes the sale, and payment and ownership transfer take place the same day, provided your paperwork is complete and the traffic departments are open.

The amount is paid to the seller registered in the car ownership, or to whoever holds their authorisation, and is not paid to a third party. Ownership of the car passes to us upon completion of the procedure at the competent department, and you remain responsible for anything affecting the car before then.

By submitting the request and completing the sale you declare the following, and it is the basis on which we contract with you:

  • That you own the car or hold a valid authorisation to sell it.
  • That the details you sent about it are accurate and complete.
  • That you have disclosed any bank mortgage, seizure or outstanding obligation on the car.
  • That the car is not in dispute and is not sought by any authority.
  • That you will bring the documents the ownership transfer requires.

You may cancel your request or decline the offer at any time before you accept it, without giving a reason and at no cost.

Once you accept the offer the sale is concluded, and it may then be cancelled only by agreement of both parties. We may cancel the process or decline the request if any of your declarations above proves untrue, or if there is a suspicion of fraud or impersonation.

The name AL Faeq Auctions, its logo, and the design, text and images of this site are ours, and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

What you send — the photos of your car and your review — remains yours, and you grant us permission to display it on the site and in material introducing our service. Do not send what is not yours, what is offensive to anyone, or what breaks the law; we may decline to publish such material or remove it after publication.

We do what is needed to keep what we publish accurate and the site working as it should. We do not guarantee that it will be free of interruption or error, nor that it will remain available without downtime.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in this clause limits any liability that UAE law does not permit to be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and its courts alone have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or connected to them.

We publish the new version on this page with its date, and your continued use of the site after it is published is acceptance of it. A request submitted before a change remains governed by the terms in force when it was submitted.

For any question about these terms, write to info@alfaeqauctions.com.
